I am the Head of AI and Software at Optimized Electrotech Pvt Ltd, a defence electro-optics company, where I own the AI and Software division: its charter, competitive strategy, multi-year roadmap, program and cost stewardship, organisation-building and talent, an AS9100 compliant quality and SDLC governance model, and a 15-member multi-disciplinary team across Testing, Full-stack, AI, and the Embedded and Application layer.
I run the Software and AI division with full ownership of strategy, people, delivery and quality. I am accountable for a config-driven, single-codebase, multi-product EO/IR portfolio: multispectral LWIR / MWIR / SWIR / NIR / VIS imaging, multi-sensor and image fusion, real-time AI detection and multi-object tracking, gimbal and line-of-sight stabilization with AHRS and laser-range-finder integration and target geolocation, and electro-optical systems for ISR, counter-UAS / anti-drone and missile-seeker programs - deployed on edge AI accelerators and FPGA.
My competitive strategy is explicit. The EO/IR hardware and edge-AI boards are how we get in the door and onto the platform - the market-entry wedge. The durable, compounding moat is what I own and build: the AI detection and tracking IP, the curated proprietary defence datasets, the config-driven software platform, and the accumulated mission-domain experience. That software-and-data advantage is the real barrier to entry.
Over more than a decade I have grown from hands-on engineering into division leadership, owning technology direction, product strategy, customer and external-stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional delivery for mission-critical AI products. I am targeting General Management, Director and VP roles in Software and AI. I am PMP certified and an IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA) alumnus through its Executive General Management Programme, and I hold an M.Tech in Communication Systems. I care deeply about building Make-in-India defence technology that is fast, reliable and field-proven.

- Set the technical direction for gimbal / line-of-sight stabilization, AHRS and laser-range-finder integration, target geolocation, and EO systems for ISR, counter-UAS and missile-seeker programs, including LLM and Agentic border / ISR insights.
- Accountable for Pd/Pfa performance: sub-20ms end-to-end and sub-5ms AI-only tracking on NXP i.MX 8, AMD Xilinx FPGA, Kinara Ara-2 and Hailo AI accelerators with ONNX / OpenCV pipelines.
- Build the organisation and establish an AS9100 compliant QMS, SDLC governance, CI/CD and test automation across parallel release trains; lead customer, roadshow and expo engagement.
- Steer Make-in-India defence programmes including the iDEX / ADITI program, with governance over delivery, quality and risk.
GenAI, Agentic AI, Computer Vision and Embedded / Edge.
- Since 2020, acted as a Centre of Excellence technical leader and director's delegate for director-assigned initiatives, owning technical strategy, architecture, customer and requirements engagement and a cross-functional team of 10+ engineers across vision, AI, mobile, cloud, DevOps and QA.
- Led machine-vision and GenAI platforms combining computer vision and LLM and Agentic AI: open-vocabulary detection, RAG, vector search, multi-agent auto-labelling and edge acceleration.
- Led the SwiftDecoder enterprise barcode SDK and on-device vision across Android, iOS, Linux and Windows, with deblurring, super-resolution and CI plus golden-image regression.
- Led patent-pending innovations: 5D box volume estimation and targeted-ROI OCR detection.
- Earlier (2017-2020), architected edge-first condition-based monitoring with TinyML, Yocto Linux gateways and Wi-Fi environmental telemetry platforms.
Automotive embedded C / C++.
- Ported and integrated automotive ECU (Body Control Module) across ARM platforms (Cortex-R4 to R5, Cypress S6J3110).
- Configured AUTOSAR Classic BSW / MCAL using EB tresos; integrated NXP SBC, CAN, LIN and SPI with watchdog and partial networking.
- Verified bus-load and latency budgets with Vector CANoe; generated A2L files; built restbus simulations and CAPL test scripts.
Safety-critical rail signalling (CBTC), embedded C / C++.
- Developed and validated safety-critical embedded components for driverless train control on Intel 80x86 and ColdFire 68000 under uC/OS-II.
- Built CAN 2.0B drivers with bus-off recovery; worked under CENELEC EN 50126 / 50128 / 50129 with full requirements traceability.
- Developed Python and C tools later used in a patent project, and a C# tool for EPROM reverse engineering.
Medical imaging informatics. Embedded C / C++, Python, TCL/TK.
- Automated clinical imaging workflows for the Innova IGS 520 PACS workstation using DICOM and PACS concepts.
- Designed an automatic data-collection solution for the CA1000 PACS workstation using TCL/TK, C++ and SQL; worked with XML-RPC and DICOM.
